Man’oushe Street has opened its first restaurant in Egypt, located in North Coast, Marassi Village By Emaar, M Porium Mall.
The new restaurant is part of the first batch of master franchise agreements the company has signed with Wadi Degla Holding, which has plans to open 90 new restaurants across five markets, covering Europe, Egypt and UAE.
The first restaurant will soon be followed by six more in Egypt, three in Qatar, two each in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and one in Europe - all before the end of the year.
The chain will further boost its presence in the UAE with six more restaurants in Dubai by 2015.
"We are very happy to announce the opening of our first restaurant in Egypt," said Jihad El Eit, founder and CEO of Man’oushe Street.

He continued: "Marking our presence in Egypt is part of our continuing move to make the Man'oushe Street brand a household name and a preferred dining venue for families and individuals looking for a hearty and satisfying meal."
According to Man’oushe Street senior executives, the opening of the initial restaurant in Egypt under the master franchise agreement with Wadi Degla Holding is part of the latter’s US $30 million investment in its local operations and international expansion until 2019.
Wadi Degla Holding has revealed that it will be opening 35 new Man’oushe Street restaurants in Europe, covering key countries like Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands and 50 new restaurants in Egypt.
Meanwhile, another group, which has also signed master franchise agreements with Man'oushe Street, will be investing AED4 million for the opening of five new restaurants in Abu Dhabi in the next four years.
Master franchise agreements with Man’oushe Street also include the training of new employees and the regular supply of all raw materials needed for the operations of the new restaurants from the central kitchen. Man’oushe Street will also conduct regular quality audits and inspections.
