The Hotelier Middle East Procurement Summit is back for a second year following the success of the inaugural event last year, which attracted more than 100 procurement professionals from across the Middle East.

This year’s event, to take place on November 4 at Ritz-Carlton DIFC in Dubai, promises to be even bigger and better than the last, with a range of panel discussions, presentations, workshops, case studies and a networking lunch.

Panel discussions will cover a range of key topics, including how purchasing professionals can make processes more effective, business ethics and best practice in purchasing and whether finance and procurement departments should be integrated.

There will also be a number of presentations from experts in the purchasing field on effective supplier relationship management, vendor evaluation, feedback and contracts, responsible procurement, and measuring purchasing performance.

A case study led by Bhanu Pratap Singh, director of procurement, Atlantis the Palm will tackle the F&B struggle and look at a best practice approach.
