More than 100 exhibitors are expected at Speciality Food Festival 2014 More than 100 exhibitors are expected at Speciality Food Festival 2014

More than 100 specialist exhibitors from 24 countries will attempt to tap into the region’s growing appetite for fine, gourmet, organic and luxury foods when the fifth annual Speciality Food Festival returns to Dubai next month.

Set to take place at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) from November 9-11, the event will aim to bring together gourmet importers, exclusive retailers and chefs from around the world.

It will be one of three niche food and beverage trade shows running alongside next month’s inaugural Gulfood Manufacturing and is set to be three times as big as the inaugural edition in 2010.

“High-end regional consumers can pay and do pay for premium food products – whether at home or at restaurants,” said DWTC senior vice president, exhibitions & events management Trixie LohMirmand.

“The Speciality Food Festival gives specialist food producers a dedicated platform to speak face-to-face with the most prominent retailers and distributors from across the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.”
