Döner & Gyros launched its franchising program during the official opening of its new flagship store in Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), with potential investors from the MENA region attending along with existing stakeholders.
Launched in July this year, the street food concept now operates from three branches - Dubai Marina, Al Barsha Mall and DIFC.
“From inception, it was our goal to make our doner and gyros available to as many people as possible and thanks to our loyal supporters we are rapidly expanding,” said Nabi Naseeb, CEO at Döner & Gyros.
“Due to the public demand, we are not only opening a new store but are now ready to offer franchising opportunities to passionate hospitality individuals who will help us grow Döner& Gyros and enter new markets.”

Naseeb added: "We are looking for investors who can share our passion for the doner and gyros street food and its heritage. Furthermore, have the eagerness and motivation to harness the brand that we have created and assist in growing it from strength to strength across the UAE and in the region."
The opportunity to own a Döner & Gyros branch is available to all potential investors with start-up costs varying between US $80,000-$191,500 depending on the size and requirements of each respective outlet, while an initial investment for franchisee trading rights range from US $20,000-$50,000,depending on the number of franchises bought.
Naseeb explained that a store’s success is highly dependent on its location. A typical outlet is between 400 square feet and 1200 square feet. The customer service area is decorated in an urban European/American layout using a modern look that relates to the metallic aspect of the modern casual sandwich street food.
Suitable locations for Döner& Gyros shops are areas within a mall, within a business building or in an outdoor mall.
“Our first branch in Abu Dhabi is due to open soon with more stores opening in Business Bay – Bay Square, Abu Dhabi Paragon Bay and in Downtown Jebel Ali in due course,” said Naseeb.
