The Ripe Food & Craft Market will be launched in Abu Dhabi's Mushrif Central Park this month. The first edition will be held on March 21 2015, with a variety of entertainment, shopping and gastronomic options on offer.
“The Ripe Food & Craft Market is all about community and we're excited to bring our unique community event to the beautiful location of Mushrif Central Park, in the heart of Abu Dhabi. It’s going to be a fantastic weekly event with a whole host of arts and crafts, fashion, jewellery and food vendors, family fun, music and eating,” said Ripe founder Becky Balderstone.
Al Bayt Mitwahid Association secretary general Ibrahim Al Mannaee said: “We are excited about bringing Ripe Market to the community of Abu Dhabi. One of the key objectives of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association is to create a platform that would bring the community together, and Ripe markets has proven to do just that.
“We also hope that we empower home-grown local businesses by providing them with a platform to serve the community of Abu Dhabi.”

The market will host about 100 vendors, offering fresh, organic produce, harvested from local, certified farms. It will also have a full range of organic retail items, gluten-free products and superfoods. Alongside will be art and crafts, fashion and jewellery as well as kids' fashion, homeware and food.
Mannaee added: “Ripe market’s offering, from organic local farm produce and fitness classes is also in-line with Al Bayt Mitwahid Association’s objectives of promoting a healthy living lifestyle among UAE citizens and residents through its initiatives.”
Ripe Food & Craft will be held every Saturday from March 21 2015, from 4–9PM.
