Japanese confectionery brand Yoku Moku has opened its first branch in Kuwait, located on Beirut Street, Kuwait City.
The opening of the 20th store in the brand's portfolio coincides its alliance with Alsa Lifestyle & Apparel LLC, and its operation in the region.
The opening took place in the presence of the Japanese ambassador Toshiihiri Tsujihara, who was welcomed by the brand's strategic partner in Kuwait, Dr Hamad Al-Hasawi, secretary general of the Kuwait Banking Association; Ehab AL Bakri, Alas Lifestyle & Apparel, and the exclusive distributor for Yoku Moku in the region, T. Fujinawa.
Commenting on the opening, Al-Hasawi said: "Yoku Moku’s authentic luxury offerings have proved highly popular in the Gulf region and we are delighted with our partnership with Alsa Lifestyle & Apparel to increase our presence into Kuwait. In a competitive regional F&B market, Kuwait is a key step in our continued growth."

Yoku Moku offers light butter cookies with no preservatives, and all the products are based on traditional Japanese baking methods.
