Bahrain has been a tourism and cultural hub both regionally and internationally, and has previously been selected as the Capital of Arab Culture in 2012, Capital of Arab Tourism in 2013 and Capital of Asian Tourism in 2014.
Al Kooheji added: "Tourism in the Gulf has grown strongly and Bahrain's history as a tourism hub, excellent transport links and open and authentic culture means that there is strong potential in this area. We are excited about the potential of this investment with Desert Adventures to attract more visitors and enhance Bahrain’s tourism sector."
