Saudi Arabian patisserie chain Saadeddin has created and launched its first gelato shop concept in the Middle East, Creamy, with foodservice shop concept design and branding company Desita working on the project.
In its finishing stage now, the gelato concept will be the fourth foodservice shop concept design created by Desita for Saadeddin. Featuring a modern, swanky environment with the feel of a high-street restaurant, the Creamy store will include various flavours of authentic Italian gelato, as well as pastries, chocolates and gourmet coffee.
"Personally, this has been a very special project for me. As an Italian who loves gelato and possesses fair knowledge of the industry, I am indeed honored for being chosen by the most prestigious Saudi Arabian patisserie chain to develop a new gelato concept design with a dedicated budget and freedom to create," said Desita founder and CEO Norman A. Cescut.
He added: "For Project Creamy, I have had the opportunity to leverage my knowledge of the gelato industry in the Middle East and utilize it to create the best shop concept design, fully equipped to set foodservice industry trends and meet the growing popularity of this Italian artisan dessert in Saudi Arabia."
"Our main focus while developing the gelato shop concept has been on creativity, comfort and convenience. The Creamy signature store will not only be a gelato wonderland for connoisseurs but also a hot-spot for people looking to hang-out and have a great time with family and friends over scoops of delicious, melt-in-the-mouth Italian dessert," said Cescut.
