British chef Tom Aikens is opening his Dubai restaurant this autumn, and has confirmed it will be called named "Pots, Pans & Boards", according to Reuters.
Aikens' new project will be a sharing concept and offer a "family-style experience", and will see guests serving themselves at their tables.
When asked why he's chosen Dubai as his next location, Aikens told Reuters that the "quality of restaurant there is very high and the produce is getting better and better".
Aikens is the latest in the line of celebrity chefs opening up concepts in the region, taking advantage of the lucrative and growing industry.
This is not the British chef's first international project - he is managing restaurants in Hong Kong and Istanbul in addition to his London sites.
