Muffin Containers

Al Bayader Group has added ‘Muffin Containers’ to its range of offerings for bakeries and patisseries; the clear containers allow customers to see the muffin and cupcake creations. Moreover, the range has been created with a special stopper that prevents the lid from directly contacting muffin or cupcake toppings. It is available in PET material, in plain, 4-cavity, 6-cavity, and 9-cavity for a variety of occasions and uses.

Ulker Labneh

Baqer Mohebi’s new launch — UlkerLabneh from Turkey — is a neutral-to-sweet labneh (strained yoghurt void of its whey). It has a shelf life of six months and is a versatile product; with a relatively thick consistency, it can be used as a product or an ingredient.Ulker was founded in 1944 in Istanbul, and manufactures margarine, vegetable oil, dairy products, carbonated beverages, Turkish coffee, ice cream and baby food. The product is distributed in the region by Baqer Mohebi.

O-tentic

O-tentic is an active bakery component based on traditional sourdough that is adapted to modern technology. It’s an enhancer, which can be used while preparing items like French baguette, is convenient to use as you add it at 4% to flour weight with water and salt. It aims to improve the taste, texture and quality of the bread. It works with all bread types, can replace yeast for some and paces up the baking process. It is distributed in the region by Baqer Mohebi.

Palais du Chef

Rue Flambée has entered the Middle East market, with La Marquise as the local partner, with its latest range — Palais du Chef. The range comprises food powder mixes, aimed to make bakers and chefs’ jobs easier. What makes the range stand out from the competition is that it is free from GMO, transfat, AZO colours and hydrogenated fats — it’s all natural ingredients. It is also gluten-free, and some products are lactose-free as well.

Horeca partners with Bridor and launches online store.

Horeca, a company of Bidvest Group headquartered in the UAE, has signed a partnership with Bridor to distribute its products to the foodservice channel (outside hotels) in the UAE.

Bridor is a French brand selling top quality viennoiserie and breads. All the products are manufactured in France with the best French ingredients. Bridor has partnership with some of the best names in the culinary world, such as Lenôtre, Paul Bocuse and Frederik Lalos.

The exclusive distributorship agreement is in line with Horeca’s strategies to tap into the F&B sectors’ growing interest in speciality bakery.

Horeca’s current range includes a variety of breakfast pastries in different shapes, sizes and flavours such as chestnut, lychees or cranberries. It will soon introduce a range of gluten-free products and za’atar-flavoured croissants. In addition, Horeca has also launched an online ordering platform (HorecaTrade Smart Store) that allows customers to order, inquire about the status, view statement of accounts, and more.
