After initially announcing its launch for Q4 2014, Jazz@PizzaExpress has opened in The Mall at World Trade Centre, Abu Dhabi.
A sister venue to the Jazz@PizzaExpress Dubai the Abu Dhabi venue is the first venture for the brand into the UAE capital.
PizzaExpress general manager Jon Green said: "We are delighted to be opening our first restaurant in Abu Dhabi at The Mall at World Trade Centre. Jazz@PizzaExpress has been a huge success in Dubai and we really feel we can add something exciting and unique to the Abu Dhabi dining and entertainment scene."
He added: "Given that PizzaExpress has just turned 50 years old, being able to open our doors to the people of Abu Dhabi is a wonderful birthday present to myself and everyone within our company."

One of the signature dishes at the venue include a pizza inspired by the Italian town of Calabria. This dish in particular, the ‘Calabrese’, features spicy Italian sausage, finely chopped green chillies, roquito peppers, red and yellow peppers, baby mozzarella, wild rocket, pesto, oregano and parmesan.
Each night the venue will feature resident band, ‘Uptown’, with a fresh calendar of events and promotions each month.
Recently the brand acquired its franchise operation in the United Arab Emirates, as part of its expansion programme.
