Thierry Douin has had a successful year, being promoted to vice president, operations for the Thailand-based operator.
Dusit International this year announced the introduction of its trendy lifestyle brand DusitD2 to the Middle East, with a number of properties confirmed. When it opens in 2016, DusitD2 Tecom, Dubai will comprise 235 guest rooms and feature two restaurants, a lobby lounge, fitness centre, swimming pool, and spa. A second D2 property — the DusitD2 Residence Al Manzel Abu Dhabi — will open in the UAE capital’s commercial district in January 2016. The serviced residence property will offer 216 units with a business centre, meeting facilities, two restauarants, a health centre, pool and sauna.
