At To The Table EMEA 2015 held in Dubai, Michelin-starred chef Vineet Bhatia announced to the crowd during his cooking demonstration that he will be closing his award-winning London restaurant Rasoi after 12 years of operations.
He said at the time: “We are closing the restaurant down; the lease is getting over. We had a great run of 12 years. This is the first announcement here officially.”
Bhatia said he would not mind moving into a hotel in London, provided he found the right partner.
On his Facebook page, the chef also made an announcement: “It is with mixed feelings that I announce Rasoi, London will be closing soon.”

He further said new projects will be announced soon. At To The Table EMEA, he hinted: “There is something in the pipeline, which we haven’t signed yet.”
Bhatia continued: “There’s a lot in the pipeline. My second book is out in November; the first book was out three years back.”
Bhatia has restaurants in the UAE, KSA, Qatar, and Bahrain in the Middle East market.
