New York-based chocolatier Alison Nelson flagged off her tenth store in UAE, at the Mall of the Emirates.

The store has been re-opened in the mall's new extension following its brief shut down, and the creator of the brand was in Dubai to inaugurate the tenth Alison Nelson's Chocolate Bar outlet where she hosted a special lunch event.

“I am honoured to be in Dubai to celebrate this milestone. Opening 10 outlets in a short span of time was a big challenge for both Saif Belhasa and myself. Their support to make ANCB one of the most popular cafés in the UAE is immeasurable,” she said.

Saif Belhasa, chairman of Saif Belhasa Holding, added: “It has been a remarkable journey so far for Chocolate Bar in this market. However, we strongly believe that what sets us apart is the excellence in everything we offer to our guests at Chocolate Bar: food, service, and ambiance”.

Alison Nelson’s Chocolate Bar is part of Crème De La Crème, the hospitality division and a member of the Saif Belhasa Holding Company. The group has reported a demand in the brand which has prompted the opening of four additional outlets in 2016.

“We have big plans for next year, with Palm Jumeirah as one of the definite venues. Even though the F&B sector in the UAE is very competitive, we have one of the best market shares, and we will put all our efforts to keep Alison Nelson’s Chocolate Bar at the top,” said Wessam Shehata, general manager of Crème de la crème.
