Fairmont Hotels & Resorts together with Abu Dhabi-based real estate investment company Eagle Hills, is set to develop a luxury hotel in Morocco - the Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé.
The mixed-use hotel development is to open in 2019, and will include 200 Fairmont guestrooms and as many as 90 Fairmont branded residences, soon to be available for purchase.

Eagle Hills Morocco properties general manager M'hammed El Merini said: "This partnership with Fairmont provides another element to the vibrant experience and luxurious environment we are seeking to create for our guests and residents."
With the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Bouregreg River running south, the project will comprise a total of 1,700 residential units and a diverse real estate programme spread over 540,000 m2.
The development will feature ample meeting space and a range of restaurants, lobby lounge and bar, speciality restaurant and pool bar & grill, in addition to fitness facilities and a leisure options.
The project is part of the rejuvenation of the historical area of the Valley of Bouregreg.
The addition of Fairmont La Marina Rabat-Salé complements a portfolio of regional Fairmont hotels under development in 2016, including Fairmont Fujairah, Fairmont Amman, Fairmont Riyadh, Business Gate, Fairmont City Stars Sharm El Sheikh.
