Greek restaurant Elia has appointed new head chef Poppy Kourkoutaki.
Chef Kourkoutaki previously worked under Yiannis Baxevanis (Elia’s celebrity chef consultant) at the five star property Elounda Beach in Greece.
The Cretan chef brings 25 years of cooking experience to the Dubai based restaurant. This includes Greece’s five star hotels and Michelin-awarded restaurants in France.
Examples include one Michelin star La Table d’ Edgard at Hotel Lausanne Palace in Switzerland, three Michelin Auberge de L’ill in France, and Océan restaurant at the five star Daios Cove Luxury Resort & Villas in Crete.
