Taste of Dubai returns as the signature closing event of Dubai Food Festival, with a line-up of new features, celebrity chefs and fine-dining restaurants.

The food, drink and music festival, running from 10-12 March, has so far confirmed celebrity chefs Nathan Outlaw, Tom Aikens, Alfred Prasad and Atul Kochhar, who have seven Michelin stars between them, as well as Jun Tanaka, Tim Anderson, and duo Reza Mahammad and Jenny Morris.

More high-profile chefs are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Now in its ninth edition, the thee-day event at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre will offer dishes from 20 fine-dining restaurants in Dubai, with new eateries joining returning favourites.

A new feature for 2016 is the opportunity for visitors to compete for prizes in cooking challenges and have their dishes judged by Taste’s celebrity chefs.

Also new for this year is cheese and wine tasting; a DeLonghi Coffee Lounge; an activity called Electrolux Secret Ingredient, which aims to expand the cooking capabilities of aspiring home cooks; Electrolux Chef’s Theatre, which will host live cooking demonstrations; and Electrolux Chefs’ Secrets, offering tips rom the Electrolux partner chefs in a series of interactive cooking sessions.
