PizzaExpress is celebrating 50 years, and the Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) outlet will be commemorating this achievement with a string of celebrations.

Dubai Properties, the developers of JBR, will be hosting the 50th anniversary of PizzaExpress at JBR. The celebrations are set to run from February 4-27, offering live music and a new pizza menu served from a new pop-up PizzaExpress restaurant.

Each night the menu will feature special deals including signature pizzas alongside salads and pastas. The event will also have live jazz music on offer.

Founded in 1965, PizzaExpress has been celebrating its 50th year in restaurants around the world, with the UAE adopting a focus on jazz music – a genre that has formed a large part of the brand’s history. Live performances start from 6.00pm until 9:00pm during the week, running until 10:30pm on a Thursday and Friday.

Jon Green, general manager at PizzaExpress said: “Jazz@Pizza Express in JLT has proven to be a successful model, bringing to our customers their favourite food and live music. As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, we wanted to extend our offering to the wider public by taking the PizzaExpress brand to one of the most recognised tourist destinations in the UAE.”
