Eco-cuisine
This means that our menus incorporate seasonal and organically grown foods wherever possible. The emphasis is on healthy, environmentally friendly and delicious food, but also includes the following:
• Refillable water jugs used instead of water bottles.
• Milk and sugar served in bulk.
• China used instead of disposable items of cutlery.
• Linen napkins replace paper ones.
• Organic beverages (wine or tea) to be available. Fairmont Dubai's tea collection was created by the Metropolitan Tea Company, the only North American member of the Ethical Tea Sourcing Partnership.
• Sustainable, organic cuisine served where possible.
• Seafood choices available.
• Vegetarian options available.
Eco-programming
This provides activities and guest-speakers to complement the experience. Whether it's a keynote address, a full-day team building eco-experience or something else, Fairmont's eco-programming educates and informs meeting delegates while providing an innovative and exceptional service.
