Along with the current and future challenges the hospitality industry in Qatar is facing and will be facing in the near future. With millennials the big focus, [we expect] to learn how to cater to gen Y and gen Z and the importance of engaging and retaining them. With a growing influence of technology mainly through social media, e-reputation, OTAs, it is important to know how to deal with it and be pro-active, efficient, manage it and be innovative. Finally, there is a new trend of groups merging their entities and getting an insight in to their future will be interesting.

What are the latest product launches from your company?
The Glion Online MBA course offering has been revised and students can now complete their MBA online in two years. If students would like to start their studies that can lead to an MBA, they can take advantage of the online executive certificates in finance, marketing or leadership. Each certificate entails 24 weeks of online study and results in credit earned for the Glion Online MBA program. Recently Glion launched the Glion MBA at the London campus which includes flexible delivery modes. Students can study their MBA on campus (one year), combine on-campus and online studies (one-and-a-half to two years) or study 100% online (two years). Designed for hospitality professionals, residencies are available in London and in other major cities so students can meet, network and learn together.
