Pierchic Dubai has announced Julian Biddulph as its new general manager.
Biddulph was previously general manager of The Ivy in Dubai and brings with him to the Madinat Jumeirah-based outlet a wealth of experience from the hospitality industry.
He began his career at the age of 17 in London, where he trained in F&B service roles and conference and banqueting operations for Radisson Edwardian Hotels.
He later held management positions at The Conran Group (now D&D London) as general manager of Osteria dell’Arcano and Luciano by Marco Pierre White Group.
Biddulph then became assistant F&B manager at The Stamford, Singapore, and in 2011 was approached by Gordon Ramsay Holdings to become general manager of Opal and Gordon Ramsay in the St Regis, Doha.
He was simultaneously appointed head sommelier for the hotel and the following year Biddulph was awarded Sommelier of the Year by Hotelier Middle East, after creating the restaurants’ signature wine portfolio.
