Zafran Indian Bistro has reopened at Mirdif City Centre, following a complete refurbishment.
The 150-seat outlet has been revamped with new interiors and a new kitchen that is staffed with new chefs.
“The stylish contemporary interiors, comfortable and relaxed seating and ideal lighting, blend seamlessly with an exceptional committed service to create a perfect Indian dining experience that stays true to our purpose,” said Asian Dining at Foodmark general manager Rakshak Puri.
Zafran's north west Indian menu has been refreshed and each meal at the restaurant comes with homemade pickles and preserves.
“The founding principal of Zafran is 'big heart-light touch' and this is the basis of everything we do as a family. A team of highly skilled and trained chefs ensure our guests receive an exceptional food experience every day. Our food is made from the finest quality, natural ingredients available and is full of flavors yet light on the stomach,” Puri commented.
The new interiors include an open kitchen with a fascia made of carbonised wood with brass detailing, which replicates the chargrilling of the traditional tandoor.
Foodmark chief operating officer Richard Barclay said: “By providing exceptional value, amazing authentic Indian cuisine and an outstanding customer service, Zafran is certain to resonate with Dubai’s discerning diners.”
He added that the brand has an ambitious expansion strategy.
