Steigenberger Hotel Business Bay, Dubai has opened its new street-art inspired outdoor venue named The Backyard.
The venue is home to a food truck serving a selection of street food dishes from Japan, and South East Asia, and further afield. The design also features the graffiti of Ramy Elzaghawy.
"The Backyard offers breathtaking views across Dubai Water Canal and has been designed to be an outdoor urban getaway for everyone from bikers, to office workers, to hen and stag parties," said the hotel's general manager, Siegfried Nierhaus, in a statement.
The venue offers cabanas or bean bags, with graffiti art, a Tata truck DJ booth, and metal and wood panelling.

Dishes include: Asian-style chicken and pomelo salad with glass noodles, South Korean chicken drumsticks, oysters with turkey bacon, breadcrumbs and cheese, ‘The Ultimate Backyard Burger’ with pulled BBQ beef, caramelised onions, honey mustard sauce and skin-on fries, and lamb ribs glazed with honey sauce, pan-fried polenta and zucchini ribbons.
A healthy vegetarian menu is also available with dishes including a watermelon and goat cheese Salad and a lentil stew risotto style.
The venue will also host film screenings, live bands, Karaoke and DJ nights. The Backyard is located on the third floor terrace of the hotel’s pool bar and lounge named Swim & Tonic.
