Italian restaurant Casa Mia, based at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre, has appointed Francisco Javier Martin Romo as its new restaurant manager.
Romo, who joins a team led by executive chef Maurizio Lazzarin, has worked in Italy, Spain and the UK.
In a career spanning more than 15 years, he has worked as an F&B consultant and wine specialist, and has earned a Level 3 Award in Wines & Spirits at London’s WSET.
He commented in a statement: “I’m ready to build upon the strength and skills of the team and our best resources to further cement the Casa Mia name as an industry leader. We have so much talent here as well as an awe-inspiring menu and wine list. I believe there is much we can achieve.”
