Alison Nelson’s Chocolate Bar, has opened its first Bahrain outlet, located in Seef District.
The concept, founded by Alison Nelson in New York City’s West Village in 2002, is a chocolate café and dessert shop, serving hand-made chocolate-inspired sweets, desserts and baked goods.
The launch event took place on January 11, under the patronage of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority CEO Sheikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa.

“This restaurant serves as an addition to the kingdom’s hospitality sector, enhancing foreign investment in the kingdom, and adds to the portfolio of international brands in the GCC,” he commented.
One of the new café’s investors, Ali Al-Qahtani, added: “We are honoured to have had this opportunity to open our new branch in Bahrain, which we believe has provided for an attractive environment for the hospitality sector, as we strive to provide a new and unique experience for chocolate lovers."
The opening of a branch in Bahrain follows launches of outlets in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE.
