Inked in Alserkal Avenue is hosting a pop-up dining experience for three days from February 12 called Tête-à-Tête, billed as a 'contemporary alternative to the normal Valentine’s Day experience'.

Guests are seated on opposite sides of a mirror that will be placed in the centre of each table and will be asked to rotate to the seat next to them between courses.

Each diner will have the opportunity to watch themselves as they eat a four-course meal, as well as speak to strangers to the left and right of them.

Tête-à-Tête is being organised by Kenza and Patrick Jarjour, a married couple who founded Inked in 2016.

The experience is priced at US$82 (AED300) per person and includes a four course dinner and soft drinks
