Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) held a two-day recruitment event to appoint 75 customer happiness ambassadors to work across the terminals at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

UAE Nationals aged 18 and above were invited to attend Abu Dhabi Airports’ recruitment open days to discover more about the job role and apply for the position.

Senior HR management from ADAC explained in detail the work required and conducted on the spot interviews. Those who were successfully recruited will undergo training at Abu Dhabi Airports’ Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies, prior to starting their new roles.

The recruitment of Abu Dhabi Airports Happiness Ambassadors is aligned with the UAE’s vision of being one of the happiest countries in the world, and its mission to promote a lifestyle of happiness and positivity.

Successful candidates will be placed on the front lines of passenger engagement and will be responsible for helping travellers passing through Abu Dhabi International Airport with their queries, and making their experience as smooth and hassle free as possible.

Acting chief executive officer Abdul Majeed Al Khoori said: “Whether arriving, departing, or transiting, the first impression of any passenger is the most important one. We want to ensure that all our passengers are greeted with a smile and warm Arabian hospitality, reflective of the welcome they will receive across the whole of Abu Dhabi.
