In collaboration with African & Eastern Dubai, Teatro at Towers Rotana Dubai on Sheikh Zayed Road is set to host a series of theatre-inspired Don Giovanni dinners from September 26 onwards.
The dishes will be prepared by executive chef Pasquale Sipone with wine pairings by sommelier, Oliver Di Meo from African and Eastern, Dubai.
Don Giovanni is an opera in two acts with music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Italian libretto by Loreanzo Da Ponte. Unlike the Don Giovanni opera however, Teatro’s tasting menu will have four acts, each paired with wine from Italy, Germany, Lebanon, Australia and France.
Pairings include lump crab salad with Fantinel Borgo Tesis Pinot Grigio from Italy and Australian lamb loin accompanied by Leeuwin Estate, Siblings Shiraz from Australia as well as gnocchi gorgonzola paired with a Blanc de Blancs from the oldest and largest winery in Lebanon, Chateau Ksara.
