Edition Hotels SVP and managing director Dan Flannery revealed a few more details about the Edition Abu Dhabi, the brand's debut property in the Middle East.
While in the UAE as the keynote speaker at the Hotelier Middle East: Great GM Debate, Flannery revealed that the hotel, which will open later in 2018, is set to have eight F&B outlets, with a "really talented F&B partner" for three of its restaurant concepts. Flannery declined to share details on who this is, saying an announcement would be made soon.

He added: "F&B is what gives your hotels personality and gives you a lot of opportunity for PR and social media exposure."
People are going to write/instagram more about what happens in the bars than room design. F&B is key: Flannery @EDITIONHotels #GMDebate17

The hotel, located in the Al Bateen Marina, will have 200 rooms and 57 serviced apartments, and Flannery said its location is one that he hopes will target both the tourist and local market.
