Passengers travelling through Dubai Airport this weekend are advised to arrive earlier than normal in order to avoid delays.
Emirates said more than 113,000 passengers are expected to pass through Terminal 3 and its three concourses from Wednesday, November 29 to Sunday, December 3, according to the latest booking figures.
The busiest day is expected to be tomorrow (Thursday) when almost 35,000 passengers will travel with Emirates.
With road works and construction in progress around the airport, passengers are encouraged to plan extra time to get to the airport to avoid delays.
Passengers can physically check in at the airport as early as six hours before departing on their flight. Regardless of class of travel, passengers are requested to check in no later than 90 minutes prior to departure, Emirates said. Any passenger checking in less than 60 minutes prior to their scheduled flight departure will not be accepted for travel, the airline added.
In addition to the online check-in facility, Emirates customers can also use the car park check-in facilities equipped with 16 check-in counters. Customers can use these to check-in and drop-off their luggage from 24 hours to six hours prior to departure.
