Rove Hotels has partnered with local illustrator and art advocate Dina Sami to launch the ‘Throwback Art Tour’, in celebration of the city's growing prominence as a leading cultural and artistic hub.
The signature Rove Around tours created by Rove Hotels focus on engaging the community in experiencing the heritage and charm of uncommon Dubai. The tour will start from Rove Trade Centre, and will give Rovers (guests) the opportunity to discover Satwa and its hidden gems on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 10am to 1pm.
Free for Dubai residents, visitors and guests to join, the tour will be hosted by artist and illustrator Dina Sami.
Sami has developed a passion for illustration and design from a young age and her distinctive black and white illustrative style can be found across Dubai, from magazine covers to the walls of boutique cafés. She was also one of the local artists who have worked on the artworks across Rove Hotels properties. Art and photography enthusiasts will enjoy her insights as they will be taken on a tour to discover the city's art and culture on foot around the theme of the UAE's history and heritage.

This tour will be a unique way to view Dubai through the areas and scenes that inspired me throughout my childhood and I can’t wait to share this with Rovers and city residents attending the tour.”

The tour will depart from Rove Trade Centre were Rovers enjoy refreshments in The Daily restaurant before taking a bus to explore the surrounding area of Satwa. A place on the tour can be booked by registering here or visiting the Rove Hotels website.
