Newby Tea distributor Geralt ME has signed on sponsor Hotelier Middle East: Great GM Debate scheduled to be held on September 10, 2018 at Le Méridien Dubai Hotel + Conference Centre.
Newby Tea founder and chairman N. Sethia said: “Newby is pleased to be a part of The GM Debate to meet our partners and colleagues from Horeca industry, show our new developments and progress in our dedication to create the best quality product. We also would be happy to learn about the new trends in the industry.”
As for some of the challenges general managers face in terms of products in the region, Sethia said: “Product decision making process, because pressure is being put on all round cost cutting, whereby at many places the quality of non-perishable goods is seriously compromised. Especially in hot beverages area, where the hotel margins are much bigger and purchase cost of quality products makes insignificant difference, as there is no waste to a fine product packaging due to heat, moisture and contamination.”
Geralt’s line of newest products includes Newby Classic tea bags that have been re-designed and available for our hotel partners. The new design is inspired by the vintage pashmina collection by N.Sethia Foundation, and represents the craftsmanship that goes into crafting luxury tea.
In the coming years, Newby Tea is researching into fluoride in tea due to its health benefits. The company is also looking to launch Heritage Collection caddies s part of the gifting range.
