New York burger venue Black Tap will open its third venue in Dubai.
According to the release, the chain is opening it's new outpost after huge consumer demand. Black Tap’s famous craft burger creations and 'CrazyShake' milkshakes are part of the menu at the licensed venue at InterContinental Dubai Festival City. It will open in early December.
The brand’s third casual dining venue in Dubai will join its Jumeirah Al Naseem and Rixos JBR branches. The InterContinental Dubai Festival City venue opening also follows Black Tap launching exclusive delivery operations in partnership with Deliveroo earlier this year.
“Our first two venues in Dubai are both runaway hits, and we’re so excited to share the Black Tap love across the city for more of the Dubai’s residents and visitors. Our third Dubai venue means the city’s residents will never have to travel more than 20 minutes to find their closest Black Tap,” said Chris Barish, Black Tap owner and restaurateur.
Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of the Sunset Group – the Black Tap franchise owners in the Middle East and Europe – added: “Right from our early discussions on bringing Black Tap to the UAE, we were confident residents would love our CrazyShake milkshakes and craft burgers. Our new location in Dubai Festival City puts Black Tap front-and-centre in an area of the city which is undergoing a regenerative transformation. We are very excited about this opportunity to enrich and expand Black Tap’s success story in the UAE.”
Custom street art can be found in every Black Tap outlet, and renowned graffiti artist, Fumero - a long-time Black Tap creative collaborator in the US - will create a signature wall mural for the new InterContinental Dubai Festival City outlet, his first in the UAE.
