Having been in the hotel industry since 1982, Abdulla Almulla, along with his family, has built up a portfolio of hotels under the Abjar International Hotels umbrella, including Ritz-Carlton, Sheraton Dubai, Renaissance Dubai and Ramada Hotel Dubai.
A respected owner, Almulla has used his experience to create his own hotel brands through Almulla Hospitality — Cliftonwood, Adham and Wing Hotel — which all promise to respect and abide by the principles of Sharia, as well as being consistent universally.
Initially, Almulla is targeting locations in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, Malaysia and Thailand, although his ultimate aim is to develop a total of 40 properties, either as investment vehicles or through management contracts, within a 10-year period.
