Hotelier Middle East recognises CEO of hospitality consultancy Roya International Ahmed Ramdan at Power 50 hot spot number 11 for his role in developing some of the region’s best hotels.
Since setting up Roya International in 1998, Ramdan’s creativity has resulted in projects such as Shangri-La Abu Dhabi that was designed, built and ready for operation in less than two years and The Monarch Dubai featuring the largest suite in the Middle East.
According to Ramdan it is his belief that nothing is impossible that drives his success. So for example, when a client asked a guest’s meal to be delivered to a high balcony as a romantic surprise, he lugged it up in a decorated cleaning cradle suspended from the top floor.

His thinking outside the box doesn’t stop there. After a career spanning 30 years, Ramdan has no regrets, but if he had to do it all again; he’d choose to be an adventure explorer.

I definetly disagree with you Mr.Dsilva! The mom and pop style of operation I believe was one of the main reasons you left!
