Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi general manager Moritz Klein is characterised by his attention to detail, guest focus, patience, foresight and approachability, say the team that nominated him.

And with the hotel’s annual staff satisfaction survey proving that the vast majority of Beach Rotana’s 1100 colleagues are satisfied, it seems his nomination was a popular one.

They highlight his commitment to social responsibility first and foremost, with the hotel supporting a range of charities from the Special Care Centre in Abu Dhabi to which AED 58,000 was donated last year to personalised projects, such as the donation of seven wheelchairs to the Sri Lankan embassy in partnership with 47 Sri Lankan colleagues. Indeed, after handing over the wheel chairs to the embassy, Klein contributed another two wheel chairs out of his own pocket.

Secondly, they praise his customer focused and business oriented approach to his work, which results in the 565-room hotel having occupancy levels of among the highest in Abu Dhabi.

Guest satisfaction at Beach Rotana is also very high, with average scores of 89% recorded in July this year, for example.
