The region’s biggest F&B trade show kicked off this morning, when H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, inaugurated Gulfood 2010.
Helal Saeed Almarri, chief executive of exhibition organiser Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) commented: “We are delighted that His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum has given his support to Gulfood 2010.

Running until 24 February 2010, Gulfood 2010 is the biggest event in the show’s history, occupying more than one million square feet of exhibition space, with more than 3500 exhibiting companies from 81 countries.
Ingredients Middle East and Restaurant & Café Middle east also run concurrently with the show, creating a full-service industry showcase of the latest trends, innovations, products and services.
Gulfood is strictly a trade-only event and is open to business and trade visitors from within the industry only.
