flydubai, Dubai's first low cost airline, on Monday announced two new GCC routes as it continues to expand its services.

Kuwait City and Muscat will bring flydubai's network to 13 routes and with a double daily service operating to both cities, the airline said in a statement.

The flights to Muscat will begin on Sunday March 28 and Kuwait on Tuesday March 30.

Kuwait's tourism industry is in its infancy and flydubai is looking to provide support to its increasing selection of luxury hotels and resorts.

For Oman, flydubai is hoping to support the Sultanate's aim to host 12 million tourists by the year 2020.

flydubai's growing network also includes Beirut-Lebanon, Amman-Jordan, Damascus and Aleppo-Syria, Alexandria-Egypt, Djibouti-Africa, Doha-Qatar, Khartoum–Sudan, and Baku-Azerbaijan.
