Vanilla Ice, otherwise known as Robert Van Winkle, is back with a brand new invention and is playing his first ever gig in the UAE at Barasti on Wednesday, March 31.
Supported by 1990s dance favourite, SNAP, Vanilla Ice is currently enjoying time back in the spotlight, thanks to the British X Factor show's Jedward twins who are from Dublin in Ireland.
The pair’s reworking of Ice’s coolest hit Ice Ice Baby is at number two in the UK charts.

When asked will it ever stop, Ice replied “Yo I don’t know” but warned “turn off the lights and I’ll glow”.
Vanilla has recently got into fishing and when we caught up with him on Dubai Creek he enthusiastically shouted to us “Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it.”
Gulfnews told fans to expect a “45 minute extravaganza” from Vanilla Ice plus a set by Snap. The gig is, unbelievably, free.

It is clearly referring to the show as British! It also clearly states that the twins are from Dublin, Ireland
