Britain's busiest airports have once again been forced to close because of a volcanic ash cloud.
A no-fly zone imposed by the Civil Aviation Authority has seen Heathrow, Gatwick and London City airports shut down until 0700 BST (10am UAE time).
Flights from the Gulf to the airports were disrupted early this morning forcing the cancellation of early morning Emirates flights from Dubai.

"Emirates is continuing to liaise with air traffic control (ATC) authorities across the UK and Europe to monitor the movement of the ash cloud. It is possible additional flights may be affected in the coming days," the airline said on its website.
Etihad also said that flights to and from London Heathrow and Dublin had been affected. The early morning Dublin flight on Monday was cancelled while there were long delays on the Heathrow route.
Qatar Airways' flights to Heathrow and Gatwick were also facing lengthy delays, its website said on Monday.
Five-day ash prediction charts forecast a cloud containing ash concentrations that exceed engine manufacturer tolerance levels will remain over parts of the UK throughout the day.
