Shakers&Makers will again feature the popular ‘SKYY Flair Global Challenge’, a competition based on high-energy performance bartending on show in the best cocktail bars, clubs and restaurants.
The competition selects regional winners from over 13 countries world-wide, including the UAE.
A grand final will be held in Barcelona next month.
MMI is the largest liquor distributor in the Middle East and its Bar Academy, launched three years ago, aims to foster a bartending culture in the region.

A number of training programmes are aimed at increasing product knowledge and promoting understanding among bar staff and the core value of customer service.
The Bar Academy has extended its training reach to the Maldives, Zanzibar, Oman and the Seychelles.
