Five nominees have made it on to the Hotelier Middle East Awards Fitness and Recreation Person of the Year shortlist.
With more than 1000 entries for the Hotelier Awards, the judges had a tough time whittling the nominations down to just five finalists.
However, there were several outstanding entries which the judges felt deserved to make it on to the shortlist.

Jamaludine Dolley, sports professional, Jumeirah Emirates Towers
Marlo produced the Feedback board ‘You Said, We did’ to communicate what the guests ‘said’ and what the team ‘did’ to rectify and acknowledge guest concerns. The board also relays thanks from the staff to the guests for positive feedback and their loyalty.
Halem Buyante, fitness professional, Jumeirah Beach Hotel
