I think none can compete with Saudia since they have government fundings and support to keep airline floating under any circumtances. Competition and perormances are secondry in Saudi Arabia. SAMA and Khayala closed down for reasons known to all in the travel industry.

I fully agree with "Ex Saudi Resident" also on a different note, Saudi people should learn to respect abide by the airlines health and safety regulations, some of them still stand up and walk in the cabin on take off or as soon as the airplane touches the ground or during taxi. this is a safety threat to them and to people around them. It is also worth mentionning that the biggest issue in Saudi Airports is the waiting time on immigration on arrival. Understaffed and people not taking their jobs seriously. This doesn't happen in any other country in the GCC or anywhere else I have been
