Who do these people think they are!!!!!!!! Since when the world has to ask Mr. Al Baker/Tim Clark how IATA or the Aviation industry supposed to be run. If they are as BIG as they think they are they can quit IATA and set their own "GulfATA" instead of winging. Nobody actually needs any of these people/airlines proof been that they loads are not local traffic. I found it a little rich going to someones home asking for food/business and then telling how you like served as well. The world has been accomodating to their coming in to their markets but the world would not be bullied in their own homes. Play nice, nobody actually NEEDS YOU. Bottom line is, as the locals say in this neck of the woods "if you do not like it, LEAVE" !!!!!!

IATA was launched to unite and streamline airline business but has been a great failure. The three carriers from GCC, Etihad, Emirates and Qatar have been competing and getting their share from the same market that was initially for Gulf Air. Three carriers with government support, subsidies wish to show their muscle as they have been outnumbering each other on same routes and aircrafts.
