Technical problems scupper Etihad's super sale

Here's a copy of the feedback I gave when they offered it last night. Their response was a generic email that didn't address the issues. Copy Well that was a disaster, one minute into it and your system can?t handle it. I think most people, given that you can?t handle normal day demand (usually between 1700 ? 1800 hours daily), would be surprised that you actually thought you could handle a sale that would without doubt cause a massive surge in your demand. How incompetent are your IT people ? this is really basic? As it was I managed to get in by the back door through my history pages. That said I found absolutely nothing that changed from the checks I made earlier in the day for trips over the next six months. The fares were exactly the same. What had you discounted ? flights to Syria, Bahrain, Egypt and Libya? Instead of wasting people?s time, it would have been better if you had said what routes were on sale so that I could have ignored your email and helped with your demand. A very poor sale and very poor performance that actually sullies all that you have (or think you have) achieved up to now

i accessed the site about 9:45. The system got stuck on a few occasions. The "super sale' was only valid on 4 routes, Milan, London, Paris and one other. the rates were not 70% cheaper !!! In my openion - this was just a HOAX !

For 2 months I have been trying to book a flight from LHR to SEZ business class. The Seychelles and Mahe are not in the destination list. I have phoned and emailed them twice each but no response....oh well I will just go back to good ol' Emirates.
