ADMs must be abolished altogether

BA is the worst. They have serious lapses in their system and Travel Agents are penalized for their system shortcomings. Travel Agents should stand together in union and tackle this in one voice. What are bodies like DTTAG for ?

Quite shallow investigative reporting. More opinion & hearsay than facts, statistics, evidence, etc.

The airlines have made their fare rules so ridiculously vague and dilebrately complicated to comprehend that the poor agent has difficulty in deciphering the exact penalties/fees and end up paying the price. Further, the various GDSs in use in the Middle East have no corrective mechanisms to ensure the agent does not cross the red line when implementing the change as requested by the passenger. This practice of ADMs should be abolished or the airlineGDS concerned must waive it as the agent is only trying their best to promote the carrier concerned via the GDS prvided to him/her.
