I wonder what was the criteria used to determine the 25 Top Hotels in the Middle East. I am surprised that none of the Hotel chains hotels is listed and some luxurious hotels the like of Burj Al Arab in Dubai, the Beach Rotana in Abu Dhabi, Al Bustan Palace Hotel in Oman, the Phoenicia Intercon in Beirut, The Address Hotel, Dubai and many others are not on the list ?!

I'm sure the grading is based on user reviews (and likely a nudge from TA editors). People using the high class hotels mentioned by Johnny aren't likely to be submitting reviews on TA. Most of the hotels on the list are frequented by business travellers too.

So it is not the luxury or the high tech or ultra modern hotels. It is the service rendered to the traveller and the homliness he feels by the service. Congrats and keep up the good work. your employees are the 60% of your asset. keep them happy.
