We must suggest Habtoor Group to be realistic when it comes to Hotel business, the way Habtoor Hotels are being operated is totally unrealistic and in the moon, Habtoor Grand is the simple example of that. Looking for business and providing none-level services is a not a good idea to sustain in today's market. Most of the GM's there been unsuccessful due to unrealistic & unprofessional corporate support and senior appointments there are also not favourable in any way. While competing to next door Westin, Le Meridien & Grosevenor house and providing 0 service will not allow to have good business at all. We can open 100 more hotels, but how about having good corporate infrastructure with professional people with right background instead of nationality/passport/personal favours etc. What commented here is not an illusion but the fact realized by many industry leaders and general guests. This is not a criticism on Habtoor, but an honest advise to a company which had a good name some time ago which is spoiled now.
