Qatar's booze ban could trigger GCC-wide crackdown

Why has this article surfaced again on 2nd April 2012. It is dated mid-February 2012. Have you not got any other 'news'...? The chances of Qatar's ridiculous stance on matters involving the "A" word extending to other less strict nations in the Gulf is extremely unlikely. Indeed, the chances of Qatar itself maintaining its own stance will be moderated by the risk of losing the World Cup if they don't. FIFA is currently at loggerheads with the Brazilian authorities concerning the sale of "A" products within the stadia. What do you think FIFA's stance would be if there are concerns of the sale of "A" products within the country...!?
