Problem is the Sadiyat Island is a not so good... I was out there 2 weeks previous and the area is dead- the St. Regis is amazing hotel... but empty- the restaurant in DIFC does great because it is centrally located but the Caramel on Sadiyat can only serve to the few sold villas and condos as well as the empty St. Regis and Park Hyatt. Who wants to pay a 80dirham cab ride each way from city center? also, isn't the flagship is pretty much a casino lobby bar that is so small in comparison to DIFC?

Great news for a fantastic restaurant concept. I think Abu Dhabi will take a little time for success but once the Saadiyat resort completes and the residential is occupied it will be excellent. I know many people that travel from Abu Dhabi daily just for Caramel alone. Ali
